A wildfire has erupted
in Turkey's forests, killing three people and evacuating people from the
affected areas. More than 140 people have been injured so far, according to
media reports. Efforts are underway to control the forest fires in Turkey.
According to Turkish officials, 35 ships, 457 vehicles and 4,000 firefighters
are engaged in extinguishing the blaze.
Turkish-made unmanned
helicopters are also taking part in the rescue operation. Winds blowing at a
speed of 75 km per hour are spreading in the affected areas. Forest fires have
reached the population, Turkish Forest Minister said. In this regard, he said that
it will take time to control the fire, many villages have been evacuated from
the affected areas.

Some tourist
destinations in Turkey have also been affected by the fire. Many houses and
hotels in the tourist destination Marble Yas have also come under fire.
According to the firefighters' administration, forest fires have broken out in
60 places in 17 provinces. Officials say an investigation is underway to
determine the cause of the blaze.
