Petroleum cost surpasses Rs 145 for each liter after alleviation bundle.
Notification of increase in prices of petroleum products was issued by the Finance Division after midnight.
ISLAMABAD: After the announcement of historic relief package for the people by Prime Minister Imran Khan, the government has increased the prices of petroleum products by Rs 8.14 paise. It is to be noted that Prime Minister Imran Khan had earlier this week stopped the rise in prices of petroleum products in view of the protests of Tehreek-e-Lubaik Pakistan.
According to the notification, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 8.03 from Rs 137 79 paise to Rs 145 82 paise. In addition, the price of high speed diesel (HSD) has been increased by Rs 8 14 paise. The new price of D has gone up to Rs 142.62 paise.
