Former national cricket team fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has spoken out
against the abuse of black British players who did not score on penalty kicks
in the Euro 2020 final. Shoaib Akhtar, 45, shared a picture of each match on
social media site Twitter, saying: "This picture is worth a thousand
words. Even a game like football can be cruel. I hope Rashford, Sancho and Saka
are racially exploited." They will not be victims.

It should be noted that black players who did not score on penalty kicks in the Euro 2020 final are facing abuse on social media. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson also tweeted: "England players should be hailed as heroes, not racially discriminated against on social media, those responsible should be ashamed of what they did.
The Football Association has condemned the biased attitude. Taking note
of the incidents, the Metropolitan Police said: "We have learned of many
racist comments on social media about some footballers after the Euro Cup
final. Harassment is not acceptable, it will not be tolerated and there will be
further investigations.
