QUETTA: The moon of Muharram has showed up. Ashura Day
will be on Thursday, August 19. As per subtleties, a gathering was held under
the chairmanship of Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, Chairman Central Route Hilal
Committee, to notice the new moon of Muharram.
After the gathering, Chairman Central Route Hilal
Committee Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad while giving a public interview said that
the data was cloudy in many pieces of the nation and clear in numerous spaces.
Proof of moon locating was gotten from Quetta, Peshawar, Dir and different
spots. It was chosen by agreement that the main Muharram 1443 AH would be on
Tuesday, August 10, while Ashura would be on Thursday, August 19. Prior, DG Religious Affairs Tahir Raza Bukhari said that Muharram moon was not found in Lahore. The gathering of Central Route Hilal Committee is in progress in Quetta. The moon of Muharram will be reported by the Central Route Hilal Committee. Sources in the Meteorological Department said that there is a solid chance of locating of the moon in Quetta. The age of the moon is 23 hours and 59 minutes. The moon can be seen for 54 minutes even get-together. |
